As temperatures start to drop, you may be wondering how long your dog should spend outdoors. The answer depends on factors like their size, coat type, and age. Keep an eye out for signs they're getting too cold, such as slowing down, shivering, or lifting their paws. When you notice these cues, it's time to head inside and warm up.

Check out our Cold Weather Lookbook for more expert tips on keeping your pet safe and comfortable this season. 🐾❄️

🐾💛 THANKS 4 GIVING at Grimsby Pet Valu! 💛🐾

This October, we’re collecting donations for our local cat rescue, Pantry Four Paws 🐱❤️

They are currently in need of:
🐾 Canned cat food
🐾 Clumping cat litter
🐾 Lickable cat treats

But anything you’re able to donate is appreciated, so next time you’re in store consider donating. Every little bit helps provide food, care and comfort for cats in need. 🥰

🍂 Pantry Four Paws focus in on rescuing, fostering, and finding loving homes for cats and kittens in need. Since 2012 they have proudly rescued, vetted, and re-homed over 5,000 cats and kittens. 🍂

Thank you, Grimsby, for always supporting our local pets and rescues! 🐾💛

As much as we LOVE having Leroy and Cathy at Grimsby Pet Valu we would love it even more if they found their furever home 🏡

They are fun, sweet, entertaining, curious, playful … you name it! They would do really well in a home adopted together, or to a home with another young cat or kitten.

Please share, or stop by to visit them today.
