Feed a Shelter Cat Week is officially here!
Right now, thousands of rescue cats are sitting in shelters waiting for their forever homes. For these cats, a simple bowl of food is more than just a meal—it is comfort, stability, and the first sign that they are finally safe. 🐱❤️
Shelter food pantries deplete rapidly, and your support keeps these resilient animals healthy and ready for adoption.
How you can make an impact this week:🛒 Donate food: Drop off bags of dry kibble or cases of wet canned food directly at any shelter.
💳 Give a meal: A small monetary donation of just $5 to $10 can feed a shelter cat for an entire week.
Let's work together to make sure every single bowl is full.
Please like, comment, and share this post to spread the word and help feed a rescue cat today! 🐾

💧🐱 July is National Pet Hydration Awareness Month! 🐱💧

Is your cat getting enough water?

Cats naturally have a low thirst drive, which means many don't drink enough water on their own. Proper hydration is essential for maintaining healthy kidneys, supporting urinary tract health, aiding digestion, and helping your cat feel their best.

Here are a few simple ways to encourage your cat to drink more:

💙 Feed wet food to increase daily water intake.
💙 Provide fresh, clean water every day.
💙 Place multiple water bowls throughout your home.
💙 Try a pet water fountain—many cats prefer running water.
💙 Keep water bowls away from food and litter boxes.
💙 Use wide, shallow bowls to avoid whisker fatigue.

🚨 Signs your cat may be dehydrated include:
• Lethargy
• Dry or tacky gums
• Loss of appetite
• Sunken eyes
• Panting
• Decreased skin elasticity

If you notice any of these signs or have concerns about your cat's hydration, contact your veterinarian. Dehydration can become serious if left untreated.

A few small changes can make a big difference in keeping your feline friend healthy, happy, and hydrated! 💦❤️
