This new fluffy bunny butt has entered the rescue and is undergoing vet care before they are ready for their forever home! Does this fluffy butt look familiar to you 👀

New Rescue Rabbit: Pamuk (pah-MOOK)

Does Pamuk look familiar!? That’s because she is related to Louis (adopted)! Pamuk was surrendered to us when her owner could no longer care for her. Pamuk means cotton in Turkish which fits her lovely wool! Did you know that Angora rabbits originated in Turkey? Pamuk is settling into foster care and is due for grooming! Once she is fixed and deemed healthy, we will begin the search for her new home 🏡

The fluff is coming in for Lydia’s babies! We are starting to finally see what these little munchkins will look like 😍

These two are not yet ready to begin the search for their new home as they continue to grow in foster care 🏡 In another 6 weeks or so, we will begin to screen applicants for the FTA program.

New Rescue Rabbit: Quinn 🎵

Quinn was abandoned in a hutch at a ranch in Sudbury with what appeared to be an eye infection 👁️ Quinn is currently in SBRR care getting the vet care he deserves. This little boy is full of hormones and still needs to be fixed and deemed healthy before searching for his new home 🏡

Congratulations to Tigger who was our longest resident in SBRR! She hopped home with her new family last week and we could not be happier for her 🤗

Eyes open and getting active! Lydia’s babies are on the move now 🏎️ 💨 These little ones were born in SBRR care and will be searching for their FTA homes in about her 8 weeks or so! Stay tuned for more updates 🐰🐰

We are in need of caring foster families for rabbits in need 🏡

This summer has been busy with many sighting of abandoned bunnies and surrender requests from around the city. We currently have no room to intake rabbits who need our help🐰 If you would like to become a foster family please send us an email or complete a foster application on our website.

New Rescue Rabbit: Lydia 🌼

Lydia was rescued after being abandoned at Turtle Pond Wildlife Sanctuary. She came into SBRR care 2 weeks ago and had a vet appontment last week where she was deemed to be healthy. But Lydia was keeping a secret! Yesterday, her foster family discovered 2 little babies in her pen🐰🐰

At SBRR, we do not support or promote the breeding of rabbits. This is the third time that a rabbit has had babies in our care shortly after being rescued. We believe Lydia is just a baby herself and so we will be keeping a close eye on the family’s development and Lydia’s care for the babies.

Lydia has already had Foster-to-adopt interest and, if all goes well, her babies will be ready for FTA in about 8 weeks. Welcome Lydia and babies! We are glad you are safe and here 💞
