We are so excited to share and send out a HUGE Congratulations to Dr. Marie on officially becoming a Canadian Citizen! 🇨🇦

For those who may not know, Dr. Marie came to us from Ireland a few years ago and has been working hard on obtaining her citizenship. She recently took her test and passed with flying colours! Earlier this week, she was officially sworn in and is now a true Canadian!

Congratulations Dr. Marie!

October is all about celebrating the incredible RVTs working in veterinary medicine. Today we're celebrating RaeAnne, who has been a part of the Cambrian Crew for many years.

RaeAnne wears many hats, and she wears them exceptionally well: dental dynamo, bandaging boss, inventory lead, and our resident vein whisperer! Her remarkable technical skills are matched only by her unwavering dedication to advocating for every patient in her care. She shares her knowledge and experience with the next generation of veterinary technicians.

You'll often find RaeAnne alongside our Practice Manager, Shanon, representing Cambrian Animal Hospital at community events. And when she's not busy care for patients, you might just find her competing alongside Bocca, her Golden Retriever, in frisbee and dock diving events!

Join us in celebrating this extraordinary human and wish RaeAnne a very Happy RVT Month!

RaeAnne and Shanon are spending this chilli morning at the 3rd annual Northern Ontario Disc Dog competition!

Come stop by to watch some of the amazing competitors play at the Falconbridge Legion! We'll be here today and tomorrow and are also selling some raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets in support of the Legion and our OSCAR Fund!

We kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home as to not distract the competitors. Make sure to dress warm!

October is RVT month which means we get to celebrate and appreciate our wonderful technicians and all that they do for our hospital, clients and patients! ❤️

RVT's wear many hats within the hospital and trained and skilled to perform so many tasks! A little fun fact is that RVT's can perform all tasks that a Doctor can except for diagnosing, prescribing medications and performing surgeries.

We thought celebrating RVT month would be a great way to social media introduce you to one of our team members Kayla!

Kayla has been with the Cambrian family since the spring and has been a great addition to our team! She shows fantastic team work , keep us laughing with her sense of humor and has greatly developed her technical skills in her time with us. While not yet an RVT, Kayla is working hard and studying to take her VTNE very soon!

When not at work, she can be found cozied up with a good book, walking her dog Stitch or playing baseball!

Please help us in showing appreciation to Kayla!

Friendly reminder to keep using flea and tick prevention on your pets!

This morning we removed this little critter from one of our patients. Ticks will still be active as long as its 4 degrees Celsius outside!

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

Today is a day to remind us to reflect and show gratitude for all of the good in our lives. We often focus on the negative, and the Thanksgiving Holiday is a good way to help reset that mind frame.

A reminder that our office is closed today. Should your pet require emergency services, please contact our emergency triage service at 705-710-8571.

What are some things that you are grateful for? Feel free to share with us!
