Private Park Update

If dogs had thumbs... we would be done by now 😆

As expected there have been complications, extra expenses and additional time. We have been rolling with it and making adjustments as needed.

To date there are roughly 350 posts in the ground. Wire stretching and stapling has started. But there are still more posts that need pounding💪

We want to thank all of people who have helped to get us this far. We could not do this alone. This is a huge project!

The goal:
-September, complete stage 1 and have it available exclusively for clients to rent and enjoy.
-October, proceed with opening the park to the public for private rentals 🫶

How many kittens did Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue care for in 2025?

In 2025 Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue cared for 349 kittens (under 4mo). That is alot of kittens needing alot of care. Hats off to staff and volunteers for all that you do!

Let us take a moment to appreciate Tikka (picture from this week in her loving home). Tikka is a Bandaged Paws success story. She had a rough start but hit the jackpot with her forever home. She is living her best life as a spoiled client of ours.

Also we want to bring attention to some sad cat stats from Bandaged Paws below 😿

2025: there was a total of 556 cats brought into care. 451 unfixed (81%) 105 fixed (19%).

Over the last 3 years: 1835 total, 1524 unfixed, 311 fixed. That means 83.05% of the cats were unfixed!

Thanks to Bandaged Paws staff, volunteers and supporters for giving animals their best chance.

Dogs like Tikka and stats like that are exactly why we’re excited to support Pumpkins & Paws on September 12 — an evening of dinner, fun, and fundraising for Bandaged Paws.

With that in mind...
