Happy 6 months, J litter! How has half a year passed since you arrived?? Wishing you all a happy next 6 months as you enter the adolescent stage with your pups and they forget everything they know ! 😉

Happy 3rd birthday to Vesper (Gaia von Tiefengrund) and her littermates ❤️

And the good news keeps on coming! Jack -Helios von Tiefengrund- from our H litter just got his results back from OFA too- Normal elbows, Good Hips 💪🥳
How handsome is he? Good-looking and goofy, the perfect combination 😄

I love it when one of my puppies is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!
Remi - Hermione von Tiefengrund from our H litter- got great news from OFA today 🤩 Good Hips, Normal elbows. She isn't a breeding dog, but it's a great idea to get your pups checked out for your peace of mind and it helps me make better informed breeding decisions!
Congratulations, Remi!

Happy International Dog Day from my hooligans to yours! I had intentions all day of getting a beautiful pack portrait outside, perfect lighting, vibrant green backdrop of trees...but a dim 11 pm kitchen snap it is 😅
I feel like this photo sums up the Tiefengrund dogs' personalities so well...
Old Man Kaiser, not at all Interested in joining this debacle. There was much milling and jostling and shoving and I made him get off his bed and come join. He was not impressed.
Little Io, all vibrant energy and focus and one interesting distraction away from tearing off to investigate...
The Queen herself, Juneau, keeping an eagle eye on Vesper, as she had been breaking her stay and Juneau sorely wanted to handle the breach of discipline herself, but I told her I'd manage without her "help"
Golden Boy Draco... My reminder of why I love male dogs more than females - all adoration and focus and eagerness to please for the sake of the bond we have...
And happy little Vesper! Who looks like an innocent angel, but was the one blatantly breaking her stay and trying to sn**ch all the treats out of my hands before the others could have any. She is my most cheerfully disobedient dog and I can't even be too annoyed as she is so sweet about it 😄

I have been so blessed to own the dogs I have, past and present. Some were taken much too soon, and I still grieve them, but I cherish each and every moment I had and have with every dog who has blessed my life with their loyalty, intelligence, personality, and love.
Hug your babies and tell them they're the best dog, because they all are ❤️

J litter is 12 weeks old and all are thriving in their new homes! Gaining size, experiences, and a different ear look everyday 😅

Now that the puppies are gone, it's time to post some overdue brags!
Indi, Indiana Gogogo von Tiefengrund from our I litter, achieved her Rally Novice title in May- a wonderful accomplishment for not even being quite 10 months old at the time. She isn't just a queen in the ring though - she also helped a friend find a lost cell phone when it fell from the hood of her vehicle! Way to go Indi!
And then there is Remi, Hermione von Tiefengrund, from our H litter who saved her dog sister (and owner) when she chased a cougar off after it attempted to get her dog sister while they were out hiking. Brave girl, Remi!
And finally, Forge, Forge von Tiefengrund from our F litter, achieved his Novice Scent Detection title with flying colors a couple weekends ago, along with our current stud dog Draco! Both dogs did great, and Forge was only a little bit slower than Draco because he had to say a friendly hello to the judge before getting down to business 😏 he has the biggest, best heart! Congratulations Forge & Draco!
