As temperatures start to drop, you may be wondering how long your dog should spend outdoors. The answer depends on factors like their size, coat type, and age. Keep an eye out for signs they're getting too cold, such as slowing down, shivering, or lifting their paws. When you notice these cues, it's time to head inside and warm up.

Check out our Cold Weather Lookbook for more expert tips on keeping your pet safe and comfortable this season. 🐾❄️

Our annual Dog Guide Walk is happening tomorrow!
The Lions Foundation of Canada’s Dog Guide supports Canadians living with extra needs through service dogs. These dogs are provided at no cost & are supported throughout their entire journey. From breeding, to training, to vet appointments, each guide dog costs roughly $35,000 each.

Pet Valu helps support this amazing cause by donating & hosting various walks throughout Canada to collect donations.

This year in Grande Prairie, our walk will start at the Lions Club. Registration starts at 11am, & the walk starts at 12pm

If you’re looking to help a great cause, we would love if you stopped by!💙
