Meet “Roman”
𝐂 𝐈𝐒 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐃 | 2021 ApHC Gelding

14.3hh | 1000 lbs | Size 1 foot

Here’s a nice, solid gelding with all the colour you could want. Roman has a professional start with about 40 rides; all the hard work has been done, now take him in any direction. Don’t overlook him due to his late start - he simply fell on the backburner as his breeders retired; he wants to be good.

Roman has no buck, just step on and go. He is uncomplicated with the basics; WTL, moves his body parts, has roped the heelomatic a few times, tracked the lead steer around, and been ridden inside and out.

This guy is QUIET. He is going to be incredibly easy to bring along. He needs to soften up in his face yet, but there is nothing else we can really pick apart about him. He’s sound, sane, blemish free with clean legs, and good feet.

This is a great c**t at a very fair 💰. We would like to see him moved soon as hunting season is now upon us and we are riding a lot less. If we didn’t have too many young ones as it is, he wouldn’t be for sale. This guy will absolutely be that beginner safe type when he is finished.

Over the next coming weeks, you may notice things get a bit quieter here… Not to fear! We are still working quietly behind the scenes, and will share updates regularly! 😊🐴 However, elk season has made its way to Alberta and as avid hunters we are also taking some needed part time off to enjoy the great outdoors!

Here is something cool… A leopard appy with a full mane and tail… and quiet as a mouse! They don’t come like him very often 🔥

Roman would make a cool coloured prospect to take in any direction you like, or he would be a great Cowgirl Cadillacs type of horse when finished - he is so quiet! The only reason he is available is because we already have too many c**ts on the go!

Roman has a professional start with 40ish rides, zero buck, WTL both ways. All the hard work has been done and he is ready for the next steps. He has roped the heelomatic, tracked the lead steers, and been trail ridden a couple of times. He is quiet inside or out and very easy - just get on and go.

He is easy to catch, tie, load, trim, bathe, saddle, bridle, etc. Exposed to ATVs, vehicles, cattle, dogs, ponies. He handles time off and saddles up the same every time. Rides alone or with others.

UTD on everything, including teeth. Good bone with clean legs, zero brands or blemishes, great feet.

We purchased him directly from his breeders this spring where he simply fell through the cracks. He is truly one of a kind and it was not an easy decision to offer him now!
