ATTENTION GRAND FORKS RESIDENTS!
The cat shelter has received an indirect threat from a local. This person left multiple voice messages to a third party , threatening to burn down a house in Grand Forks. Because of our strained relationship with this individual (whom we tried to help repeatedly over the years!), it's believed the Shelter is the house they are referring to.

The RCMP have been notified, as well as the Fire Department. The Shelter does have cameras on all four sides, however we are asking the public to please keep an eye on our building! 🙏🏻

There should be no one on the property between 9pm and 7am. If you do spot someone sneak around there please call 911 immediately! There are 55 cats in the Shelter and a fire would be beyond devastating 😿.

🎉 OWNERS FOUND 🎉

This large but thin, orange neutered tabby boy showed up on a property waaaay up Granby rd. (in Grand Forks). The property owner was concerned he may have been dumped up there. As he is already neutered we are hoping he is someone's missing pet!

These three cuties are currently up for adoption at the Grand Forks Total Pet! 😻🐾

If you are interested in adopting a kitten from us it is important to note our baby kittens are not fixed at the time of adoption. The adoption fee of $220 DOES cover the spay/neuter & microchipping, however the surgery must be done by our vet in Grand Forks as this is where we get our discount. This means all kittens are required to return to Grand Forks when they are approximately 5mths old for their spay/neuter surgery. Please do not apply if you are not able to accommodate this. Thank you for your understanding. 🐾

This stunning boy has been named Hudson 👀🩵 He came to the shelter as a frightened, shy, intact stray. Thanks to the dedicated volunteers, he has really warmed up to human affection! He LOVES having his cheeks and head scritched and even shows us his belly! While he is still a touch unsure about big open spaces, Hudson loves hidey-holes where he can observe the room and receive pettings from adoring humans 😸.

We are unsure how he feels about children or dogs, however given his skittish nature we feel a calmer living environment would be best for him. He doesn't seem to mind the other cats in the Shelter.

We guesstimate Hudson to be around 2yrs old. He has been neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and microchipped. His adoption fee is $175. If you would like to meet this handsome boy, or any of our other wonderful rescue cats, please reach out now! 🙏🏻❤️

🚨Precious 12 year old senior boy Casey is STILL looking for a loving home!🚨

Casey was extremely thin when he arrived and was quickly taken to the vet. It was determined that Casey is diabetic, and at that point was in a a state of ketoacidosis and may not have survived had we not provided him with immediate treatment 😿.

Thankfully this sweet little guy has pulled through and is putting on weight and loving the care and attention he's receiving in his foster home! 😻 Other than the diabetes, Casey has received a clean bill of health. He will need to receive an insulin injection twice a day for the rest of his life, so we are hoping there is big-hearted kitty lover out there that would consider giving Casey the loving home he so deserves! 🙏🏻 The adoption fee for Casey has been waived, as finding him a home capable of caring for his medical issue is most important. 🎉 Avey has been found!! 😺

A HUGE thank you to the crew at the Pet Valu for baiting & monitoring the live trap for almost 2 months in hopes of catching this little gal! She appears to be in good health, and will be reunited with her brothers in her new furever home soon ❤️
