🚨 FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR CUDDLES 🚨

Cuddles is running out of options.

Many of you will remember him as the Scott Avenue dog. Cuddles struggles with fear-based reactivity and has a bite history. He is currently waiting for placement with Ruff Around The Edges, a rehabilitation program experienced in helping dogs like him but the foster who took him in from his previous owner can no longer keep him.

Without a foster home, Cuddles has nowhere to go.

The shelter is not an ideal environment for a dog like Cuddles. He does best when he can build trust with one person and have consistency in his life. He needs an experienced, dog-savvy foster who understands reactive dogs and is willing to help him through this waiting period until a rehab placement becomes available.

He has shown that he can get along with other dogs after a proper introduction, his best fit would be a home where he is the only animal.

You won’t be doing this alone. Ruff Around The Edges is willing to provide guidance and support to help set both Cuddles and his foster home up for success.

This is not an easy foster, but it is an important one. Right now, Cuddles needs someone willing to see past his struggles and give him a safe place to land.

What do you think? Who’s your pick! This crew of 10 week old kittens is a little shy but they come out of their shells quickly with a little attention! They’re playful little maniacs one minute and asleep in a pile together the next. Exactly what kittens should be.

🐾 The Pakua Shipi lucky Seven 🐾

These pups have had a dramatic start to their short lives. When they were just 4 weeks old, their mom needed emergency surgery and could no longer care for them. Thanks to a lot of help along the way, the puppies made the long journey to our shelter to grow and be cared for. Mom is now doing wonderfully and her babies have thrived and are ready to find homes of their own. 🥰

They’re exactly what puppies should be: friendly, sweet, curious, playful, and completely convinced that every person they meet is their new best friend. They are magical mixed breeds (we don’t know the exact mixes) expected to grow to roughly 40–50 pounds (with a few likely staying a little smaller or bigger). They are all around 8 pounds currently! Making them a great medium-sized adventure buddy. Big enough for hiking trails and beach days, small enough to still believe they’re lap dogs. Each puppy has received 2 DAPP vaccines and 2 parasite treatments.

At 9 and 10 years old, these two sweet souls have lost the only home they’ve ever known after the heartbreaking loss of their owner. Bear & Molly are desperately looking for a new place to call home. They arrived confused, grieving and clinging tightly to each other. The duo have been together since they were puppies and they will only be adopted together. They are little lap dogs who are used to a calm home, soft beds and being near the people they love. They both love being up in your arms! They are both fixed, fully vaccinated, well cared for and trained both outdoors and on p*e pads. Though they’ve only lived together we suspect they would do fine with calm, respectful animals, especially dogs their own size and temperament. These aren’t puppies starting a new chapter, they’re two aging hearts hoping someone will help them keep theirs intact. ❤️‍🩹 They do not need perfection, excitement or a busy lifestyle. They just need kindness, patience and someone willing to love them through this hard change in their lives.
