Wow! Look at all these Golden smiles. 😁

Today, Golden, BC was filled with 265+ wagging tails, happy tears, new friendships, muddy paws, big laughs, and more Golden Retriever joy than we could have imagined.

These two Big Sit photos capture what Golden Tails Gathering was all about — bringing people and dogs together for one unforgettable day.

We heard more than once today that it was “the best day of my life,” and honestly, that might be the best compliment we could ever receive.

To every person who travelled, volunteered, sponsored, participated, cheered, laughed, cried, took photos, made friends, and helped bring this first-year event to life — thank you.

We did it, Golden. 💛 And just look at this pack.

With only a few days to go, here are Nugget’s Event Tips
▪ Wear your wristband — all humans need one.
▪ Keep your dog on leash except in designated off-leash areas.
▪ Bring a towel — especially if your Golden plans to visit the swimming pond.
▪ Pack for the weather — layers, rain gear, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes are all good ideas.
▪ Take breaks when needed - walk around the campground to enjoy the Fall colours.
▪ Clean up after your pup so we can keep the site beautiful.
▪ Give other dogs space and always ask before approaching or petting.
▪ Know where Registration is — that’s your go-to spot for questions, lost items, or help.
▪ Check the schedule so you don’t miss The Big Sit, contests, agility, and other activities.
▪ Visit the vendors and food trucks and support the businesses joining us.
▪ Take lots of photos and tag .
▪ Most importantly: relax, have fun, and enjoy being surrounded by Goldens!

Nugget says: wag more, worry less - let's make some Golden memories.
