Barn Buds for Ages 6+. This is an opportunity to hang out with others that enjoy being here, and to spend time with the animals. We groom and and have quality time with the horses. We go around the farm to see the other animals. We make a craft. It is a super fun time if you haven't tried it out before.

A few things to know: this is for Ages 6+. We will need to know if your child has an allergies (we usually do hot chocolate and a snack). We are outside so dress appropriately. This event is not a riding lesson, do not expect to ride.

And that's a wrap on summer programming. A rainy year but that didn't stop us from having fun with the horses. For riding options the last 2 months we had different classes like Trail Riding, Horse 101, Versatility, Performance, and a Day Camp. Also took some students to 4-H Horse Camp and ABRA finals. Fit haying inbetween the few days of sun we had. What a challenging year to keep horses sound, healthy, and out of the mud. Thanks to all for keeping us busy, and for your extra patience on the days that didn't run so smooth.

🌿 Finding Shelter in Challenging Times & Building Resilience 🐴

Join Debra Jackson, Registered Psychologist specializing in Equine Facilitated Psychology, along with her herd of four horses, for a full day of immersive learning and personal growth in a peaceful natural setting.

📅 Date: Saturday, September 5, 2026
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📍 Location: 57112 Range Road 105, St. Paul County

Participants will experience:
-Circle time
-Herd observation and connection
-Reflection and art activities
-A supportive space to slow down and reconnect

This workshop offers opportunities for:
• Grounding
• Emotional regulation
• Building resilience
• Fostering presence
• Deepening connection with yourself and others
• Finding clarity and regeneration

Limited to 12 adults
$300 registration fee
Water, coffee, and healthy snacks provided
Please bring your own bagged lunch
Closed-toe footwear is required, and participants should dress appropriately for the weather.

A minimum of 8 participants is required for the workshop to proceed.

The last few months have been incredibly busy, but absolutely amazing. All the spring riding lesson programs are in full swing. I have been lots of different places to teach and work lately outside of my place. 4-H has given me so much opportunity for growth as a coach and judge. Getting lots of projects done inbetween the rain. Thank you for keeping me busy, and doing what we love. 💕🐴

At this time we have no more spots available if you need a lesson horse. Haul in lesson times with your own horse are also very limited.

Mr. Abe has gone onto greener pastures. We had the opportunity to lease him, and to love and enjoy him over the last year. Abe has a long list of experiences, and his family referred to him as the jack of all trades. He certainly kept our lesson kids safe no matter what we were up too over the last year. Thank you Abe for being a kind and sweet boy, we will miss you. 💕🐴
