🩺🐾 October is RVT Month! 🐾🩺
October is a time to celebrate Registered Veterinary Technologists (RVTs) and recognize everything they do to keep a veterinary hospital running smoothly and efficiently. It’s also an opportunity to shine a light on the many hats RVTs wear every single day. 💙
A vet techs day is busy and constantly changing. From inducing, monitoring and recovering anesthesia, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and taking radiographs, to filling prescriptions, educating clients, performing dental X-rays and cleanings, cuddling nervous patients, running laboratory diagnostics, nursing hospitalized patients and administering medications — RVTs do it all!
They are often behind the scenes, but they are an incredibly important part of your pet’s care. Your RVT is always working for you and your pet and can be one of your pet’s greatest advocates while they’re in our care. 🐶🐱❤️
