Hello everyone. I am happy to announce that I am about to start back up.
I have updated my policies, please take a moment to read through them. They are below this, or on the website.
I will need to see rabies information for all animals before I will groom them again (even if you showed me recently!).
If you are unsure if the policy may affect you, feel free to reach out!
Vaccine Policy
Dogs and Cats must be up to date with all vaccinations.
Owners must provide proof of current Rabies vaccinations in order to have any services performed on dogs or cats.
Dogs left alone
At this time, I may need to take a break to tend to my child while your dog is in the middle of their groom. I will need to leave your dog alone in the salon, or in a crate / kennel for up to 15 minutes. Due to this, I cannot accommodate dogs that are unable to left alone (eg. screaming, urinating, excessive drooling etc)
Size and Behaviour
I am unable to accommodate aggressive or poorly behaved dogs. Any dog showing unacceptable behaviour will be sent home immediately.
At this time, I can only groom small to medium sized dogs.
Scent-Free Policy
My home is a scent free location. Dogs that smell of human perfume, strong cooking smells, ci******es etc will not be able to be accommodated. (Dog shampoo is okay).
I do not permit dogs that have been skunked within the past 9 months to enter my house.
Pick up Policy
Dogs must be picked up promptly. Owners will be texted or called (please indicate preference at drop off) with a pick up time at least 10 minutes before the dog is ready. Dogs not picked up promptly will not be allowed to return.
Flea and Tick Policy
If I discover fleas on your pet, they must be taken home immediately and cannot come back until the fleas have been treated and two to four weeks have passed with no fleas present.
You can obtain flea and tick preventatives in either drops or pills from your vet, or from pet stores. It is recommended to treat all household pets in months without snow (or above 0°C)
