Hi folks, Just a quick heads up, as the temperature has been dropping all day the surface at the parks is freezing and becoming very slippery. Watch your dogs closely as they can easily slip on the frozen surface.

As a heads up you may see some construction vehicles at the local off-leash parks. We are expecting to have a few upgrades installed and some repairs finally addressed. More information to follow.

Hi Everyone, this Sunday is Father's Day and the Cedarvale Dog park will be closed for the day for the annual Classics for Cancer Car show. Please use park at Trafalgar Sports Park for the day. Cedarvale will reopen on Monday.

Spring has sprung, well maybe, Cedarvale Dog Park has just received 3 loads of woodchips to help improve the groundcover. This Saturday morning, we could use some volunteers to come out and help us spread them throughout the park.
Come on out at 9AM to give us a hand, the dogs will be greatful for your assistance.

AN UPDATE:
Now that Spring has arrived and the snow has melted, the surface conditions at Cedarvale have returned to the pre-winter state, soft and muddy. We have been asked when woodchips will be coming. We have ordered them, however at present the ground is too soft for the trucks to enter the park and deliver them. When things dry out and the ground firms up we will arrange for delivery. Once they are delivered we will be looking for volunteers to come out and help distribute them throughout the park.
