It has come to my attention that recently; some negative reviews and defamatory comments were posted on social media.
Those negative reviews attacked me personally and professionally and went after my company.
In this post, I would like to set the record straight.
Beautiful Pets has been an integral part of the Georgetown community for more than two decades now, I personally have been in the pet industry since 1996. Throughout all those years we had an excellent reputation, winning multiple awards for our grooming and boarding services. I have dedicated my entire adult life to making sure that pets in my care are treated and cared for and their safety and happiness comes first and foremost.
At Beautiful Pets I created a place where dogs can play and socialize together in group settings. The owners trust me to ensure that their pets will be safe and will be treated kindly.
To ensure that new dogs, especially the larger breeds are suited to mingle with other pets we require a two-hour evaluation prior to being accepted to our facility.
Although, in the majority of the time, the dogs are well behaved, at times, we need to intervene and prevent a more “aggressive” interaction between dogs. Some of our methods to prevent escalation and to redirect, includes making noises, loudly calling the dog’s name, or touching the dog. At times we kennel the aggressor for a short period of time. At all times we work hard at maintaining a calm quiet and balanced atmosphere within the groups, thus preventing injuries.
Owners report that their dogs love to come to Beautiful Pets, they can’t even say the words “daycare” or “Del” near their dogs as the dog gets too excited. When they arrive, they run into the daycare room, and many don’t want to leave our place at the end of the day.
Due to my handling skills, trainers and Vets regularly refer difficult dogs that others could not handle to me for grooming and in many cases my team and I manage to make grooming a more positive experience for the dog.
It hurts me to read those negative comments that seems to come from a place of ignorance or malice.
For my loyal, newer, and future clients, I hope that you will not be swayed by those comments and if you have any concerns or reservations, you will discuss them with me. We welcome those that want to come and tour our place.
Thank you for listening,
Del Eliraz
