Riding Lessons, Starting This September!

Looking for a fun and rewarding activity for your child this fall? Gregory Humphrey Equine Services is accepting new riders for September in Fruitvale, BC!

Our riding lessons are a great introduction to horses and are designed to help young riders build confidence, balance, coordination, and strong horsemanship skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Appellant retired from racing in 2023 and has developed into an exceptionally talented sport horse. This horse is QUALITY—he moves like a warmblood, has tremendous scope and could make an outstanding upper-level event horse or jumper.

Currently showing at 0.90m and ready to move up, schooling Training Level cross-country and jumping up to 1.10m consistently at home with tons of scope for more. Appellant is brave, honest and will jump anything you point him toward. He has also attended dressage shows and loves travelling and showing.

Appellant requires a confident rider who can continue developing his talent. He has come an incredibly long way over the past three years and is ready for someone with ambitious goals.

Currently wears four shoes and is maintained on a primarily forage-based diet.

His training and show career will continue until sold. Price will increase with further education.

Gregory Humphrey Equine Services offers individualized professional training for horses at every stage, from young horses beginning their education to experienced horses needing refinement, confidence, or a return to consistent work.

Our training can help with:

Trailer Training Sessions Available

Loading your horse doesn’t have to be stressful .

Whether your horse won’t load, hesitates at the ramp, rushes off the trailer, or simply needs more confidence, we’re here to help.

Training can be done:
🏡 At your farm using your trailer and setup
🏇 At our facility if your horse is able to haul in
🚚 We can also bring our trailer to your property for horses that don’t have access to one (additional fee applies).

Our trailer training focuses on creating horses that are confident, safe, and reliable to haul—whether you’re preparing for a horse show, trail ride, vet appointment, or simply want hauling to be easier.

Diva is an 8-year-old, 14.3hh grade Quarter Horse mare with a kind personality and a solid foundation. She is best suited to an intermediate or experienced rider looking for a rewarding project to continue bringing along.

She is going well at the walk, trot, and canter, has been started over fences, loads and trailers well, and has good ground manners. With consistent work, Diva continues to gain confidence and develop her skills.

Another great week at Thunderbird Show Park! 🐴✨

While we arrived with fewer horses than we had originally planned due to a number of circumstances, we couldn’t be prouder of the ponies that made the trip.

The baby pony was incredibly brave, confidently jumping around the ring for his rider, and Homie came out feeling so much more confident than before. It’s so rewarding to watch these young horses grow, gain experience, and become more confident with every outing.

A huge thank you to CWD - British Columbia for your continued support and for keeping our horses comfortable with exceptional saddles and service. We truly appreciate being part of the CWD family.

We’re already looking forward to the next one! 💙

Diva is a 14.3hh grade Quarter Horse mare, 8 years old, with a sweet, sensitive personality and absolutely no mean bone in her body.

She is very respectful on the ground, loads well, and handles herself quietly in daily handling. Diva is going walk, trot, canter and has been lightly started over fences, continuing to gain balance and confidence with consistent work.

She would be best suited for an intermediate or experienced rider to continue bringing her along. She is a lovely project-type mare who thrives with soft, confident riding and steady consistency, and she’s improving every day.
