Spring is a time for new beginnings. Closing doors mean opening windows somewhere else.

We started this business in a rented classroom 9 years ago. We bought a building 6 years ago. Running a small business in these recent times has been a clarifying learning experience. We have met some absolutely amazing people coming through the doors and I am so grateful that some of them remain friends. We have been in a position to offer chances to some who just needed a break. We have seen miracles arrive where we've helped people learn how to mute the doggy chaos in their homes. All in all, we have been blessed.

As of Saturday May 3rd we will shut the doors to the Playing Paws Academy Daycare and to Paws Cupboard. All sales final.

Here's to all of you this Christmas. May you rest and indulge to your hearts content. Both Christmas and New Years fall mid-week this year so its a good idea to call ahead and see if we're here. We plan on taking a little well-deserved time off to enjoy the season ourselves.

It smells like gratitude, loyalty, nobility, affection, pure unconditional love. And in spite of all they've been through, they smell no resentment. So blessed that my house smells like dogs.
