Surgical correction of severe patellar luxation 🐶

This patient presented with a severe multi-axis deformity, including left patellar luxation, femoral varus, and tibial torsion.
Surgical management included osteotomy corrections on the femur and tibia along with trochlear groove deepening. Fixation was achieved using a PRCL-5 mm locking plate combined with S-VETOSS synthetic bone graft to speed up and regenerate new bone tissue.

Outcome:
A successful procedure with a good and speedy recovery, showing excellent bone regeneration through 6 months post-op. Another great demonstration of how S-VETOSS restores bone, function, and confidence.

Complex feline femoral fracture repair on 8 month old Maine C**n cat 🐈

This young cat presented with a comminuted distal femoral fracture and concurrent metatarsal fracture after a fall.
Surgical management included double-plate internal fixation using PRCL locking plates, combined with S-VETOSS granular bone graft applied directly to the defect site to support rapid bone regeneration.

Outcome:
Full weight-bearing and return to normal activity just 3 days post-operatively. No complications.

🐾 Young Alaskan Malamute with bilateral hip dysplasia facing serious mobility issues.
After an initial hip replacement, the dog developed aseptic loosening of the hip cup implant.

In revision surgery, the veterinary team removed the loose implant, cleaned the acetabulum, and used S-VETOSS bone graft (mixed with 1ml autologous blood) to fill multiple bone defects. A new Kyon implant was then placed.

The outcome was excellent:
• Full recovery with normal limb function and no lameness just 2 months after surgery.
• At 3 months, X-rays showed strong osteointegration around the new implant.

S-VETOSS helped support reliable bone regeneration and secure implant fixation in this challenging revision case.
