Family dog owners trust me to help them fix the canine chaos in their world. As a dog training coach I help them to understand their dog’s struggles, to learn ways of re-directing their dog’s energies, and to apply safe and simple methods to get better behaviour from their dog. Through gentle leadership, dog owners can find (or recover) the joy and companionship that made them want to get a dog in the first place.

She now lies down completely flat to eat from a bowl raised six inches off the ground, which means her chin is on the floor and her neck is doing something no vet has ever recommended.

She has invented a worse posture than the one we were correcting. The vet has seen the photo and had no comment.

At a research center in Mississippi, dolphins are trained to collect litter from their pools in exchange for fish. Kelly, one of the dolphins, figured out how to game the system.

She hid paper under a rock and tore off small pieces to give to trainers one at a time, earning multiple fish rewards. Then she got even smarter. She saved a fish, used it as bait to lure gulls into the pool, caught them, and traded them for even more fish.

She taught her calf the trick. The calf taught others. A dolphin who turned a simple task into a profitable business. 🐬🧠🐟
