Good morning!

As a reminder, I am not currently offering pet sitting services. I appreciate everyone who has passed my name along to snuggle new critters, but unfortunately, there is not enough time in the day to hangout with Ember, relax, work and still find time to sleep or have a life outside of work. 😂

I have loved meeting everyone over the years, and may eventually be in a spot to offer services again, but currently this is not an avenue I am offering.

I know I've been quiet on here, but I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for trusting me with their babies.

I was looking through photos, and have found myself missing pups and their buddies alike.

After much consideration, it is time to end Steph's Paws and Play

As many of friends and clients have seen, I have stopped booking pet sitting services since bringing Ember home, but it is now time to stop dog walking as well. I have loved walking, and caring for everyone’s dogs and cats over the last year and a half, and attribute it to helping me grieve my sweet Paisley.

Thank you for welcoming me into your homes and letting me love your pets like my own. I am truly grateful for all the furry friends I have met along the way. While I may reconsider in the future, I believe this is the best course of action for the time being.

Hello everyone!

I know it’s been pretty quiet here lately!

I welcomed home a new best friend, Ember! That being said, I will be limiting bookings going forward, as people have seen.

I will be continuing with dog walking for the time being, and will provide notice if that changes.

Thank you for everyone allowing me to care and love your pups (and cats) over the year!

Heads up, fellow dog walking friends!

Unfortunately, a snare was found this morning in the Sunset neighbourhood of Fredericton (the post from the Sunset Neighbourhood Watch page, said between the berry fields and the MacDonalds builder site).

I had just walked through with dogs when one of our clients notified me. For people who are not educated on snares, they are intended to kill via strangulation. The animal gets their head in the loop, and it tightens the more the animal resists. Wire cutters are the only way to remove a snare.

The fact that this was found in a populated area where many dogs (I have seen cats there as well) frequent daily is alarming. Please be careful out there!
