💫 Adult English Budgies available 💫

These fluffy balls of cuteness were brought in from Toronto for my breeding program. I have since decided to only keep a few pairs, so these little ones are looking for new homes.

They are all closed banded (meaning they were banded as 10ish day old babies- with zero possibility of being banded as they grew, so their hatch years are accurate). They were all hatched in 2024 and 2025 as per their bands.

The 2024 birds are proven breeders and have had babies in the past. The 2025 birds are now old enough to make families of their own.

OR

They would be just as happy being pets. They are not currently tame, but are relatively easy to tame down.

English Budgies are about double the size of your typical “pet store budgie”. They are less flighty, less anxious and seem to be smarter (in my opinion). They are harder to find as there aren’t many young ones in New Brunswick anymore.

Each bird is 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣. If wanting a male/female pair, the 💸 is 2️⃣5️⃣0️⃣.

I will add a few pictures, however, to really appreciate their different colours and patterns, I would recommend picking out your new friend(s) in person.

**Please note: both the male and female yellow faced birds are currently not available.**

Serious inquiries only, please.

I also have some breeding cages and lots of dishes and perches available.

Watching the learning curve with these two this week, has been fascinating. 🤣 At the beginning of the week, she was doing heart wings and feeding him (this is backwards), and then he was taking dry food and trying to feed her (it’s usually regurgitation), and then finally this morning he was uhmm… learning the proper “position” (no, I didn’t video that).😂

Introducing Peewee! 💙
Will he be a future Daddy? Or remain a pet? Or both? Your guess is as good as mine. Either way, we’re so excited to have his beautiful violet genes in our flock! 😍

🦜 A Little Reminder to Bird Families 🦜

Sometimes life changes, and circumstances come up where keeping a bird is no longer possible. There is no shame in recognizing that you can no longer provide the home your bird needs.

But before posting your bird for rehoming, please reach out to their breeder first. 💚

Many responsible breeders want to know if one of their babies ever needs a new home, whether that bird left their nest six months ago or many years ago. Your breeder may be able to:

• Take the bird back

• Help find and screen an appropriate new home

• Connect you with someone already waiting for a bird

• Offer temporary help or advice if the situation might be resolved

• Provide information about the bird's history, genetics or family that could be useful to a new owner

For many of us, our responsibility doesn't end when a baby leaves for their new home. We put an enormous amount of time and care into raising them, and we would much rather receive a message saying, "I need help finding them a new home," than discover later that one of our birds has been passed around without us ever knowing.

If you've adopted a bird from us and circumstances ever change, please contact us first. You will not be judged for needing to rehome. Our priority will always be making sure the bird is safe, loved and placed in the best home possible. 🪶💚

Responsible breeding doesn't end at adoption. It means being there for the birds we bring into the world for their entire lives.
