Heeling isn’t just for competition dogs! 🐾

A good heel is an important everyday skill. It helps your dog stay focused and close when passing other dogs, walking through busy areas or dealing with distractions.

They don’t need to heel for the entire walk—there’s always time to sniff and explore! A good heel simply gives you a skill to use when you need it.

It’s such an important skill when you’re out walking in parks, on trails or anywhere you’re likely to cross paths with other dogs. Like everything in dog training, it takes patience, consistency and lots of practice!
