Ruby is looking for her forever family
Ruby has been fostering with us for over three years now. While we have lightly looked for a forever family for her since her person passed away suddenly in 2022, our hearts were heavy and actively finding her a home wasn’t a priority.
We now feel it is time to find her a person with two hands just for her. A couch and a home full of attention is all she needs. While she has bursts of energy, she does not require very much exercise. She is 110% content to be within sight of her people and chill.
She has basic manners, but no formal training.
She is mostly good offleash once she trusts the person she is with, and respects her training collar for those intense situations with deer or other dogs.
She has lived in town and in the country on our farm.
She has had some dog friends but can get jealous, she prefers all the attention for herself.
She is not good with cats or farm animals.
Because she has lived in my home for sometime, of course she is good in harness, skijoring and running with the quad. I am sure she would be amazing at bike-joring.
She is good with my kids who respect and are not fearful of dogs, however we are looking for a family with no kids, or a family with kids equally mature as our own.
She was born in June 2020 and has lots of love and time left to give. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.
She has been regularly groomed over the last three years.
Please share her availability as you are able with any family who may be a serious fit for our Ruby.
