Policy Update

Please be aware that we require a minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice if you are unable to make your appointments for your pets. If you are a no show or do not give us more than 24 hours notice this will remain on your file and tracked. If you reach the status of 2 No Shows, the next appointment will require a 50% Non Refundable exam fee deposit before being able to book. If you need to cancel or reschedule, call the clinic at 250-774-1098. If it is outside of business hours, please leave a voicemail or send an email.

Unfortunately this has become a common problem and we have strictly enforced this policy. While we understand life happens and you may get busy, but when you don’t show up for your appointment it means that another owner/pet has missed out on that time and opportunity for us to help those pets.

Please be advised the clinic will be closed Monday May 18 for Victoria Day. We will re open Tuesday May 19 @ 9am.

Reminder that if you are needing any prescription refills or food to please have your requests to us by Monday April 13 before noon or come into the clinic to pick up by Wednesday April 15(open 9-4). The clinic will be closed from April 16 to April 28.

Please be advised the clinic will be closed on April 6, Easter Monday.

We will also be taking our annual ‘Spring Break’ and will be closed from April 16-April 26 and will reopen on Tuesday April 28 @ 9am.

Reminder, if you require veterinary services outside of our business hours please reach out to a clinic of your choice in FSJ or contact Vet Wise @ 1-778-743-4351. Vet Wise is a virtual veterinary service that Tamarack Veterinary Services teamed up with and brought to the community almost two years ago. It has been very helpful for many pet owners for emergency services in our remote area. As a reminder, Vet Wise is for emergencies and not a replacement for annual health and wellness or regular prescriptions. We encourage you to call and book an annual wellness exam to ensure we can help your pets. We provide routine care, vaccines, radiographs, in house lab services, elective surgeries and more.
