A very special birthday swim for Angus!

This handsome boy is celebrating his 12th birthday, and we were lucky enough to be part of it with a special swim at Hydro Pups.

There’s something extra special about getting to celebrate these milestones. At 12 years young, every birthday, every adventure, and every happy moment deserves to be celebrated.

Happy birthday Angus!!! ❤️

Two pups, two completely different swim styles!

Arlo is all about the FUN jumping in, making a splash, and playing catch like there’s no tomorrow!

Meanwhile, Maia prefers the peaceful side of Hydro Pups. A calm, relaxing hydrotherapy session to help her body loosen up, move comfortably, and feel her best.

Whether they’re here to play or to slow things down and relax, every pup gets a session tailored just for them.

Nothing makes us happier than seeing our pups feeling confident, having fun, and getting all the benefits of movement in the water without it ever feeling like work.

Meet Ace!

Ace is beginning his hydrotherapy journey with us after undergoing two TPLO surgeries. These procedures helped stabilise both of his knees, and hydrotherapy will support his ongoing strength, mobility and recovery.

Ace also experiences lower lumbar pain, so our sessions will focus on controlled, low impact movement to help build strength while reducing stress on his joints and lower back. We’ll work at his pace, allowing plenty of recovery time and gradually progressing as he becomes stronger and more comfortable.

Small steps, strong progress
you’ve got this Ace 👏

A huge shoutout to Wood Buffalo Animal Rescue for bringing sweet Jackie by Hydro Pups for a swim!

We weren’t sure if Jackie could swim, and at first she was definitely hesitant and unsure about this whole pool thing. But with a little patience, reassurance and guidance, it didn’t take long for her to realize… splashing around and playing fetch is actually SO much fun!

One of the sweetest things about Jackie is watching her personality come out once she realizes she’s safe. In such a short time, she opens right up and underneath that initial hmmm who are you? is such a loving, playful girl with so much love to give.

She listens incredibly well, knows her commands and just wants that connection with her people. Whoever gets the opportunity to welcome Jackie into their family is going to be incredibly lucky. I truly think she has all the makings of someone’s very best friend.

Thank you, Wood Buffalo Animal Rescue, for trusting me with this beautiful girl and letting me be part of another one of her new experiences. Jackie, you did amazing!

And if you’ve been thinking about adding a new best friend to your family… Jackie might just be waiting for you.

At Hydro Pups we provide warm water canine hydrotherapy in a safe, private and welcoming environment. Using our heated hydrotherapy pool and underwater treadmill we help dogs move their bodies with less impact on their joints while working on strength, mobility, endurance and overall well being.

Hydrotherapy can be beneficial for so many dogs, not just those recovering from an injury or surgery!

We welcome:
✨ Senior dogs experiencing stiffness or decreased mobility
✨ Dogs with arthritis or joint concerns
✨ Pre & post surgical rehabilitation (with vet approval)
✨ Dogs needing strength and muscle conditioning
✨ Weight management & fitness
✨ Puppies learning how to swim safely
✨ Dogs building confidence around water
✨ Active dogs needing conditioning
✨ And healthy dogs who simply LOVE to swim!

Every dog is different, which is why sessions are tailored to the individual dog, their abilities and their goals. Whether your pup needs a little extra support getting moving again or you’re simply looking for a fun, low impact way to keep them active We are here to help.

Our goal has always been to create a place where dogs feel safe, supported and loved while helping them live their happiest, most comfortable lives.

Come see what Hydro Pups is all about and discover what hydrotherapy can do for your best friend.
