I'm sure all of you have heard about what's going on at the SPCA by now. Biggest question we're having right now? How can I help. We will be closed until the situation is under control as I am needed there. What could help me with that is patience with my response time this week, or if you'd like to prepay your next groom to help me to be where I'm needed this week you can EMT [email protected] and comment below so I can fill out a gift certificate for you. Or you can donate directly to the SPCA to care for these precious babies ❤️ I'm not alone in caring for them, all the local groomers are showing up to help out, but I'm not leaving until its done!

PSA THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ONE OF THE DOGS IN THIS SITUATION, PIC FOR ATTENTION ONLY!

I want to take a moment to thank everyone for the love. This week I have been both personally and professionally tagged over and over, all on posts asking for a compassionate, caring, patient , groomer. I'm honored that our clients trust me with treating their pets like family. I have been at this a long time, and nothing brings me more joy than knowing that I am able to build a relationship with animals that have been labeled ungroomable, or given a fear of something that should be enjoyable for them. I look forward to continuing to offer Fort McMurray a Grooming salon that feels like family.

🥧 STAFF SHOWDOWN: PIE EDITION! 🥧

It's time for some friendly competition! The employee who collects the most coins will earn the honor of getting pied in the face! 😆

Every coin counts, and all proceeds will be donated to the SPCA and the YMM Relocation Centre. ❤️

Vote with your coins, support two great causes, and help decide who gets the pie! 🥧🎉
But that's not all... if we reach our fundraising goal, our manager will get pied AND hosed down in our dog wash!

🐾🔥 CHALLENGE ACCEPTED🔥🐾

Well, well, well... we've been challenged by Pet Valu & downtown PetValu for Pet Appreciation Month, and we have just one thing to say:

**GAME ON!** 😎🐶🐱

The challenge is simple: **Who can collect more donations for our local rescue animals?**

We're raising funds and supplies for:

❤️ YMM Animal Relocation Center
❤️ Fort McMurray SPCA

Now it's up to our incredible community to help us take the lead!

Every bag of food, every toy, every dollar, and every donation helps provide care, comfort, and second chances for animals waiting for their forever homes.

🏆 Will Thickwood Pet Valu come out on top?
🏆 Will the rescue animals be the real winners? (Okay, definitely yes! ❤️)

Let's fill those donation bins, spread the word, and show Fort McMurray what happens when animal lovers unite!

🐾 Donate.
🐾 Challenge your friends.
🐾 Help us leave Pet Valu wondering what happened! 😜

The clock is ticking, and every donation brings us one step closer to victory—and more importantly, helps local animals in need.

Who's ready to help us bring home the title of **Pet Appreciation Month Champions**? 🏆🐕🐈

🐾❤️🏆
