Hey everyone,
I think I’m long overdue for a little life update on here and just let everyone know what’s going on over on my end.
First off, I want to thank everyone who thinks of me and tags me in posts on various Facebook groups, or recommending me to friends. As of now, I am not accepting new clients. I just can’t keep up being only one person. I have also had to announce to my Anzac clients that I will be unable to service their area anymore. I am just finding it impossible to find the time in my hectic schedule.
With that being said, I am going to be scaling back my availability. To be honest, I’ve been at this for 9 years and my body is tired. This winter has been really hard for me mentally and physically, and navigating through it has made me have to rethink how I want to move forward. I cannot continue to see 25+ clients in a day, it is just becoming too much.
As most of you know, I also work part time at the Brewery, while being a single mom. That job is coming to an end this month, but I have decided to take a position at another establishment to be able to have that social aspect in my life.
I’ve done my absolute best to try to accommodate everyone over the years as one person. But, my body is really starting to feel it. And as my kids get older, their schedules are becoming more demanding with extra curricular activities.
So, moving forward, I will continue to post my available days, which will be cut back and I am putting a realistic limit to how many people I can see on those days. Once those spots are filled, they are filled. I may try to open up some days when kiddos are in school for a few hours, but come summer, that option won’t be available while they are out of school. And I will most definitely have a cancellation list as cancellations do happen.
I just want to express to everyone how grateful I am for the support I’ve had over the past 9 years, and I by no means want to stop doing this. I just need to be realistic and try to prevent myself from burning out completely.
