Hey everyone! We apologize for the short notice, but we WILL NOT have a veterinarian on site this week Wednesday and Thursday. We will still be open for medication refills and basic appointments (nail trims, etc-call us for more info on this!), however it will be with REDUCED HOURS. For this Wednesday and Thursday - march 4th and 5th we will be open from 9 am to 5 pm. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there are any questions. Any emergencies will be routed to the emergency clinics in the region as available. We appreciate your understanding and we will be filling our schedule Friday and Saturday to make up for any delayed appointments.

Our hearts are incredibly heavy as we share the news that a devastating fire occurred at Happy Days Sanctuary, a local safe haven here in Stevensville for so many cats in ours and surrounding communities. Sadly, many cats perished in the fire, and the sanctuary has suffered extensive damage.

We are accepting any and all donations to help them rebuild and care for the surviving cats and animals. We have reached out to see what is needed, and the request has been the following: DRY CAT FOOD and CLUMPING CAT LITTER are the most needed items currently, as well as FRISKIES CANNED food. They DO NOT need blankets or towels at this time.

With the main building at the sanctuary now unusable due to fire damage, finances will be the bulk of what is needed to keep things going. Whether you can spare some change to help cover emergency vet bills, or donate a larger amount, every bit makes a difference. We understand and appreciate that this is a tough time of year for donations, and we completely respect that. Anything you’re able to give, no matter how small is truly appreciated. Donations can be dropped off either directly at Happy Days Sanctuary or here at our clinic. We can also arrange for an e-transfer email to collect donations here.

We have seen this community come together in the past to help each other, and I’m hoping that we can do that again, as this is a devastating loss to the cat rescue community which is already struggling. Thank you in advance for your generosity, and love for the animals who depend on all of us for a warm place to go with the temperatures dropping.
