Six weeks old, six gremlins deep, and six times the chaos. We wouldn’t want it ANY other way!

They’re here! Our newest CLOUDKNINE crew has made their debut — 3 girls and 3 boys, all healthy, happy, and busy melting hearts.

We may have one puppy available. If you’d like to be considered, please PM us.

🔥 Couch? No. Throne.
This spicy little gremlin has planted himself dead‑center like he pays the mortgage. I tried to move him and he gave me that slow blink that said, “Bold of you to assume you have rights in my living room.”

🐾 Hey good lookin’… this handsome pooch is busy stealing hearts and snacks today.

☕️ + 🐶 = my entire personality today
Weekend rule: if your coffee isn’t strong and your puppies aren’t causing at least mild mischief, you’re doing it wrong.

This is a fantastic talk with a Master Breeder.

It isn’t dachshund‑specific, but the insights are powerful across all breeds. Too often, breeders overlook these fundamentals — and hearing them laid out so clearly reinforces that my own program is on the right track.

Here are the pieces that really resonated with me:

• The power of mentorship and building real connections
• Insisting on solid, stable temperament
• Health testing — and not dismissing affected dogs, but learning from them
• Understanding breed type and knowing what you have, what you’re producing, and how to breed with purpose
• Linebreeding — and how to do it thoughtfully and effectively
• Whelping ease and selecting for bi***es who can do the job well
• Recognizing when a program needs a U‑turn, a reset, or a new direction — and accepting that setbacks are part of the journey

My takeaway:

Know what matters to you in your breeding program — and stay true to it.
