☀️🐾 Summer is just around the corner, and that means it's the perfect time to grab a leash and hit the trails with your four-legged adventure buddy!

Looking for some great local spots to explore? Here are a few of our favorites:

🌲 Maliseet Trail (near Woodstock) - A hiking trail with history - previously an ancient travel route for the Maliseet First Nations. It features a popular, relatively easy 3.4-kilometre out-and-back day hike that leads directly to Hays Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in the province at approximately 20 metres (70–80 feet) high.

🐾 The Becaguimec Nature Trail (Hartland) - The Becaguimec Nature Trail is a walking path that descends to the stream floor, winds through thick ferns, and climbs to a lookout offering beautiful panoramic views of the river valley.

🥾 Shiktehawk Walking Trail (Florenceville-Bristol) – A wooded trail offering plenty of shade for warm days, plus picnic tables along the route for a relaxing break.

🍃 Meduxnekeag Nature Preserve Trail System (Woodstock) – A local gem featuring a network of trails through forests, wetlands, and along the river, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration and wildlife spotting.

🚨 Emergency Service Hours Update 🚨

Effective immediately, emergency veterinary services for established clients will be available:

• Weekdays: Until 8:00 PM (excluding holidays)
• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Outside of these hours, and on holidays, all emergency cases will be referred to Capital City Emergency Veterinary Hospital in Fredericton at 506-447-8387.

Emergency care requests from non-clients will also be referred to Capital City Emergency Veterinary Hospital.

Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians remain available 24/7 at 506-392-8377 to help answer urgent questions and provide guidance.

Additional urgent care services are available through Fredericton Veterinary Walk-In & Urgent Care, open daily from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. They can be reached at 506-777-1235.

Please plan ahead for weekends/holidays by ensuring you have enough medications, keeping key phone numbers handy, and calling early in the day if concerns arise.
