As I wait for my coffee to brew this morning, I tought id give you all a little update..........
GUESS WHO'S BACK IN ACTION AFTER 10 YEARS?!
COFFEE IS BACK, BABY!!!
That's right! After 10 YEARS of being out of the saddle, our handsome Mr. Coffee is officially back under saddle and getting back to business!
And let me tell you, this big handsome boy hasn't missed a beat!
We've taken our time, put in the groundwork, built that trust and confidence, and now look at him go!
Not only is Coffee back under saddle, but he's already toting our littles around and proving to be an absolutely HUGE asset to our programs!
There is something pretty special about watching a horse find a new purpose, and we couldn't be happier that Coffee has found his here with us!
We also want to send out a HUGE heartfelt thank you to his previous owner for her kindness, generosity and the incredible donation of this beautiful boy. ❤️ Because of you, Coffee gets to start a whole new chapter, bringing smiles, building confidence and making memories with our littles!
10 years off and now he's got one of the most important jobs at the barn!
We think Mr. Coffee is going to be something pretty darn special around here!
Let's hear it for our big guy!!!

WELL… THAT'S JUST RUDE, MOTHER NATURE! 🤣
October 17th and we wake up to our first snowfall of the season! Seriously?! We haven't even finished enjoying fall yet, and winter is already trying to move in!
I mean, it's pretty and all… but I was still enjoying my pumpkin spice lattes, colourful leaves and NOT freezing my butt off doing morning barn chores!
Dear Mother Nature, we'd like to return this little sample of winter. We didn't order it, and we're definitely not ready for the full subscription!
Anyone else slightly offended by what they woke up to this morning?! Share your pics with us ⬇️

RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY… WE'VE GOT HALLOWEEN FUN PLANNED TODAY!
A little rain isn't going to dampen our Halloween spirits here at Rein In! 🤣
We've got a barn full of horses, Halloween fun, games, costumes and a whole lot of giggles waiting for our PD Day campers today!
The weather might be gloomy, but we've got plenty of spooky fun planned to keep our little ghosts and goblins busy!
So grab those rubber boots, dress for the weather and get ready for a spooktacular day at the barn!
And don't worry… our horses are ready for all the attention!

THE ABSOLUTE NERVE OF THAT TINY HUMAN! 🤣
Miss Holly was having herself a lovely little self-care day.
A luxurious, self-inflicted mud bath, a little relaxation, and some much-needed ME time. Life was good!
Until... along came a tiny human who apparently didn't get the memo that today was a SPA DAY, not a WORK DAY! 🙄
Next thing Holly knows, she's being told she has to work, she needs to be CLEAN, and OUT COMES THE HOSE!
THE AUDACITY! THE DISRESPECT! THE ABSOLUTE NERVE OF THAT TINY HUMAN! 🤣
Apparently, rolling in mud doesn't count as getting ready for work around here!
Poor Holly. Spa day cancelled. Dignity washed away. Back to work she goes!

Today I just have to give a HUGE shout-out to two pretty amazing girls who are part of our barn family!
As most of you know, I work late at the salon on Tuesday nights, and Sarah is usually the one who takes care of evening chores. Well, tonight didn't quite go as planned, and poor Sarah ended up in emerg.
But this is where our amazing barn team stepped up!
By the time I got home tonight, Isla and Jordyn Wood had already tackled a big chunk of the evening chores, and let me tell you, what a HUGE help that was!
It's moments like these that remind me just how lucky we are to have such a wonderful group of girls who genuinely care about our horses, our barn, and each other.
Girls, you have no idea how much I appreciated walking into the barn tonight and seeing everything you had already done.
A BIG shout-out to Isla and Jordyn! You girls ROCK!
We are so grateful to have you both as part of our Rein In family!
And of course, sending Sarah lots of love and hoping she's feeling better soon!

Well, after a belly full of Thanksgiving dinner, a walk to the barn for night check was definitely needed!
Everyone is snug as bugs in rugs, happily munching away on their hay, and all tucked in for the night.
There's just something about a quiet barn at the end of a long day that makes my heart happy.
Full bellies, happy horses, and another day in the books.
Until tomorrow, barn family!

THANKSGIVING DINNER IS SERVED!
While the rest of us are getting ready to stuff ourselves with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and pumpkin pie… our horses at Rein In Equine Wellness Centre are already digging into their Thanksgiving feast!
🌾 On the menu: Hay.
🌾 For dessert: More hay.
🌾 For seconds: You guessed it… MORE HAY!
🐴 FUN HORSE FACT! 🐴
Did you know a horse typically needs to eat around 1.5–2% of its body weight in forage every day?
That means a 1,000 lb horse needs roughly 15–20 lbs of hay daily if hay is its main forage source!
And trust me… our crew takes their all-you-can-eat buffet VERY seriously!
NOW IT'S YOUR TURN!
If you've been part of our barn family for a long time, you all know one thing about me… I LOVE TO EAT!
And let's be serious, Thanksgiving is the perfect excuse to eat way too much and then go back for seconds!
So now I want to see what everyone is having for their Thanksgiving dinner!
👇 Drop a comment below or share a picture of your Thanksgiving feast today! Turkey, stuffing, desserts… I want to see it ALL! 🤣
Who knows, maybe I'll get a few ideas for my next meal!
