Saturday, September 12th & Sunday, September 13th, the North Bay Humane Society rescue vehicle rolls into our store, and we could not be more excited (or more grateful for all the love this event is already getting). 🚐💙

Guess who’s coming to play?! Cleo the Clown is stopping by THIS SATURDAY from 11am–1pm to cover your face in glitter and paint like the masterpiece you are! 💖🐾

Yes, you’re here for the adorable adoptables (obviously 🐶🐱). But are you really going to say no to a glitter tattoo while you fall in love with your future best friend? We didn’t think so. 😉

Cleo is a local legend and every time she shows up, the store turns into pure chaos in the BEST way. 🌈

So bring your face, bring your heart, and get ready to leave with both fully decorated. 💕

Pepper would like it on record that she did NOT consent to this. 😤🛁

The betrayal. The drama. The sheer audacity of getting clean. And yet… five minutes later, tail wagging, zoomies incoming, acting like she wasn’t just plotting her escape. Classic Pepper. 🐾

Moral of the story: if Pepper can survive bath time, YOUR dog has no excuse. 😂

As part of our Adoption Weekend with North Bay Humane Society, we’re bringing you a whole day of extra fun — even if you’re not taking a pet home!

Get your pics taken with an adorable furbaby (or just you and the crew!), play around with fun virtual props, and have your photos texted or emailed to you INSTANTLY. No pet required — just bring your best smile! 😄

🐾 10 days until they arrive. 🐾

Somewhere out there right now, a dog is curled up in a crate, a cat is pressed against the corner of a kennel — and both of them are waiting. Waiting for someone to choose them. Waiting for a couch, a name, a person who’ll be there every single day.

On September 12th & 13th, that wait gets a little shorter. We’re welcoming North Bay Humane Society and the beautiful animals in their care — many of whom have already traveled so far just for the chance at a home. Every mile behind them has led to this moment, and every mile ahead could be spent with you.

North Bay Humane Society shows up for these animals when no one else will — feeding them, healing them, loving them, and refusing to give up until they find where they belong. We’re honored to be part of their story, even for just one weekend.

So come with an open heart. You might just walk in to say hello — and walk out having changed a life. Maybe even your own. 💙

🐾 Circle it, star it, set a reminder — this one’s special 🐾

We’re partnering with the North Bay Humane Society for a weekend that could change a life — maybe even yours. HSNB has spent nearly 40 years as a no-kill shelter, giving lost, abandoned, and surrendered dogs and cats a second chance at everything: medical care, vaccinations, and love, while they wait for the right person to walk through the door.

This weekend, that person could be you. 💛

🗓️ SAT, SEPT 12 → 9AM–5PM
🗓️ SUN, SEPT 13 → 10AM-1PM Adoptions continue for any sweet faces still waiting

Every dog, puppy, cat, and kitten here is hoping this is the weekend their whole world changes — and honestly, ours might too.

Not ready to adopt? Come anyway. Some snuggles are worth showing up for on their own, and we’ve got plenty of other fun in store. 🐶🐱

This gorgeous 4-month-old Weimaraner came in for the full new-puppy treatment recently — bath, treats, tag, and food, all the essentials for a furbaby just starting out in the world. 🛁🦴🏷️

But can we talk about those eyes for a second? Lyvie’s got the most stunning blue eyes we’ve ever seen, and she clearly knows it — she showed up in a harness that matched perfectly. A girl who dresses to match her own eye color? Icon behavior. 💙👀

Weimaraners are known as the “Grey Ghost” thanks to their sleek silver-grey coat, and those famous blue-grey eyes are a signature trait of the breed (they often shift to a striking amber or grey-blue as puppies grow into adults). Originally bred in Germany as versatile hunting dogs, Weimaraners are smart, athletic, and famously loyal — they bond hard with their people and love being right by their side.

Welcome to the family, Lyvie. We already adore you. 🐾
