Your dog knows where their front feet are… but what about the back ones?!

Rear-end awareness is an important skill that many people overlook when training obedience.

Using a simple bowl or platform, you can teach your dog to move their back legs independently, pivot with control, and eventually position themselves neatly beside you — without needing the platform at all.

And guess what? That little pivot is one of the building blocks of a beautiful heel! 🐾

Who knew a bowl could be the start of something so fancy? 🪣✨

Your dog knows how to get into the centre position… now let’s add some movement! 👀

Once your dog understands where you want them, the next step is teaching them to stay connected to you while you move.

In this video, we’re building on the foundation from Part 1 and adding movement to make the behaviour more dynamic, useful, and reliable.
