There is so much more to breeding than most people ever see. It's filled with incredible highs and some heartbreaking lows.
It all starts long before a foal is even conceived. Countless hours go into researching bloodlines, carefully selecting the right crosses, and planning each breeding with a purpose. Then come the long days of tracking cycles, breeding schedules, and hoping everything falls into place.
After that, it's 11 months of making sure your mares are healthy, happy, and thriving, followed by sleepless nights on foal watch, praying for a safe delivery. And once that foal is on the ground, the real work begins—raising, handling, and developing them into the very best they can be.
When everything goes right, there's no feeling like it. When it doesn't, it can be absolutely devastating.
Through it all, God carries us through the hard days, and we give Him all the glory for the good ones.
Today was one of those good days.

It was a long, late night—but absolutely worth it. At 2:40 this morning, we welcomed a truly special arrival: a stunning, big filly and every bit the dream black warmlood we’d could have hoped for.
She is out of our lovely Kazou SCS and sired by Casalou PS, carrying that beautiful KWPN “W” year naming tradition. We’re proud to introduce Wazou.
We couldn’t be more excited to watch this filly grow and see what the future has in store for her. 💫
