Families across Northwestern Ontario are evacuating their homes due to devastating wildfires, and many are arriving at emergency shelters with their animals and little else.

Our team is working around the clock through our emergency response hub in Thunder Bay to make sure every animal arriving with an evacuating family has what they need. We are distributing food, supplies, providing emergency boarding, veterinary care, and moving our adoptable animals south to make space in our Northwest Animal Centre for displaced animals.

The need is immediate and growing every day. If you are able to support our Emergency Response Fund, your gift will help us be there for every pet and every family who needs us during this crisis.
