Check out our newest review of our puppy classes below!

"Carmen and Aaron run a great Program. Both are knowledgeable, and skilled.
As a seasoned Lab owner, the puppy foundations program was informative and a great reminder of the need for consistency by all members of the family. Aaron and Carmen handled Joe confidently and gave lots of hands-on examples for handling the puppy stage.
I would highly recommend Pawsitive Steps Puppy Foundations Class. The learning environment was comfortable, clean and dog friendly. A worthwhile experience!"

Thanks so much for everyone who came out to see us at the business expo today.

We wanted to take an opportunity to address a frequent question we received regarding our stance on aversive methods.

We are members of the Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers (CAPDT). We chose to join this organization because it aligns with our values and belief in humane treatment of all dogs.

We do not use any methods which may cause fear, harm, or use force to achieve desired behaviours (shock collars, prongs, etc.). These tactics are not only inhumane, they're also completely unnecessary and have been scientifically proven to have long term negative affects on dogs. Some of these methods even break the bond between owners and their dogs, and teach learned helplessness rather than obedience.

Here's a short snippet from one of the many industry recognized textbooks we reference when it comes to understanding our four legged friends.

When you play SO hard at Doggy Daycare that you literally fall asleep… STANDING UP. 😂🐶💤

Someone forgot to save a little energy for the ride home! 🤣

Play hard. Zoom hard. Sniff ALL the things. And when the batteries finally hit 0%… sleep wherever you are! 🔋➡️💤

Looks like somebody is officially ready for the weekend. ❤️🐾

Have a restful weekend, furry friends! 🐶💕
