Edson Enforcement Services/Edson Animal Pound

10/02/2026

Enforcement Services is encouraging residents to report missing pets directly to the Town so our team has accurate information about animals currently missing in the community.

If your pet is missing, please email [email protected] with your full name, address, phone number, a description of your pet and a recent photo.

Please do not send missing pet reports through Facebook, Messenger or other social media. Reports should be submitted by email to [email protected].

Having this information can help Enforcement Services identify missing animals and connect them with their owners if they are located or picked up.

Beginning this week, Town of Edson Enforcement Officers will be equipped with body-worn cameras while carrying out their duties in the community.

Body-worn cameras provide an objective record of interactions, support public and officer safety, improve evidence collection and help ensure interactions are documented accurately and fairly.

Body-worn cameras are not always recording and will be activated during enforcement-related interactions where recording is appropriate and necessary.

Requests for access to recordings will be handled in accordance with applicable legislation and Town policies.

The Town of Edson remains committed to delivering professional, respectful and accountable enforcement services.
