Weโre back baby!!!! โจ
+ we owe you a life update + pics!! We took a pause over the summer because I donโt think weโve ever had such a chaotic period of time as a family ๐
โข we sold our house, and while it was under contract with the new owners we got water damage during the 2nd wettest summer in Edmonton since 1902 ๐ aka we were downing (no pun intended) in renovations under a clock before the new owners closed on the house
โข the kids finished off their last year at their school and our youngest graduated kindergarten ๐ฅน
โข we tried desperately to fit fun memories into the chaos for the kids, for example the mud mini photoshoot we did with the kids & Rowan
โข we bought a new house, in a new town, moved and proceeded to spend weeks setting the house up
โข we surprised our daughter with her very own, very first pony ๐ฅน sheโs a 3 year old quarter horse named Aelin (yes, after our favourite โFireheartโ and currently in training!) In the meantime Ivy has been working hard on her riding lessons with the school horses!
โข I got my meet my very best booksta bestie Madison โข bookstagram in real life at the Calgary Zoo where we spent the day together with our families
โข we commissioned incredible wall murals for our kiddos bedrooms that perfectly capture their individual personalities and favourite things
โข weโve explored our new town, gone to events, made memories as a family, had my best friend visit from Ontario, went to a couple concerts, picked raspberries from our own bushes in our new backyard, spent a ton of time at our barn taking care of our new girl in the wettest summer weโve ever lived through, trained new pony, Ivy got to sit on her recently, etc ๐
Basically - itโs been an incredible summer, but also a jam-packed one ๐
But our office is set up in the new house, things have slowed down a bit, and Iโm ITCHING to get back to my small business! Iโve missed this community, and have such amazing plans for the rest of the year!!
