Because mental wellness shouldn't depend on your postal code. 💚
Today our Paws for Mental Health Mobile Program had the privilege of visiting seniors in the wonderful community of Warburg.
For many people living in smaller or rural communities, access to animal-assisted wellness programming simply doesn't exist. Through our mobile program, we're bringing trained wellness pets, meaningful connections, conversation, mindfulness activities, and moments of joy directly to those who need them most.
The smiles, stories, laughter, and quiet moments of connection we witnessed today are a reminder that sometimes the most powerful form of support is simply showing up.
Every community deserves access to programs that reduce isolation, improve mental wellbeing, and strengthen the human-animal bond, no matter where they live.
💚 Want to help us reach more communities like Warburg? We're currently seeking sponsors to help expand our Mobile Paws for Mental Health Program across Alberta. Your support helps us remove barriers and bring these life-changing visits to seniors, youth, and underserved communities where services are limited.
📩 If your business or organization would like to sponsor a visit or help us reach more rural communities, we'd love to hear from you. You can email us at [email protected]
