WE’RE BACK WITH PET OF THE WEEK!

Today, we are featuring the one and only **Mr. Squish!**

Squish is a tough yet incredibly sweet boy who has some sensitive stomach and skin issues. Despite his challenges, every time he visits us, he arrives with the biggest smile on his face!

And honestly… his name couldn’t suit him better! Just look at that adorable face—how could you resist giving Mr. Squish a big, loving squish and hug?🤗

We always love seeing this sweet boy at the clinic, and his happy personality never fails to brighten our day! 🥰

Keep smiling, Mr. Squish!

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Today, September 30, we pause to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities across Canada.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is an opportunity to listen, learn, remember, and reflect on the history and lasting impacts of residential schools. It is also a reminder of the importance of respecting Indigenous peoples, cultures, traditions, and stories.

At Sifton Park Vet Clinic, we believe that compassion, respect, and understanding are important not only in the care we provide to animals, but also in how we care for and support our community.

Today, we remember.
Today, we listen.
Today, we continue learning and working toward reconciliation.

Every Child Matters.

Staff meeting, but make it unnecessarily confusing. 😂

Jayda, Michelle, Sara, Mackenzie and Lyndsey decided to bring their own little surprise to this month’s meeting: “Anything But a Cup.”

So they all casually pulled out their completely ridiculous drinking vessels like this was a perfectly normal thing to do… and waited.

Dr. Alma: confused.
Dr. Rigo: confused.
Manager Jamie: VERY confused. 😂

Nobody explained anything right away, which honestly made it so much better.

Important clinic discussions? Absolutely.
Professionalism? Technically.
Drinking out of anything except an actual cup for no reason other than confusing management? Also absolutely.

10/10 staff meeting. Would confuse them again. 🐾😂
