So... since my last post almost a year ago, I have sold my ackies. Left Canada to Asia. I have seen some monitors on the streets, but I have not own any yet. Health not that great the last 2 years my main focus is to just get well. It is unlikely I'll be posting anymore to this account. Thank you so much for viewing my content all this time. Take care.

I am moving and unfortunately cannot keep them. 1.5 years to 2 years old. Yellow ackies. Message me if you want to grab one. Responsible owners!

This happens all the time. They seem to respect some rules of not getting into fights so far, and only bite the worms. What's your experience in these situations?

This lighting setup seems to be working real good so far! And the electric bill is just about $15 a month!

2x24' which is highly rated to last a year. Each giving out about 100-130 UVB reading based on my UVB meter. That's about what I get under direct sun at 2pm summer in Edmonton.

9 a cheap and good for heating. I get about 120-160 basking temp. That's about what you get in Australia outback during the day.

Yesterday I made a post of how my last tegu went in the box willingly. Guess what happened a few minutes after the post? Yup, she wasn't happy after that. Don't use cardboard boxes, tegus are super strong!

Final Tegu Post.

Tegus sold. Feel a little sad but they have found good homes.

My last interaction with the last tegu before my farewell just shows how tame tegus can be. I simply put a box on the ground(too bad my security cam malfunctioned and didn't record, only a screenshot), the tegu simply saw the box and she went in without a fuss.

I'll be switching to work on smaller lizards, Ackies to be specific. Thanks so much for all who have been following my posts and all the encouragement. If you want to continue following my journey that'd be really cool, if not, I can understand too! Take care everyone!

Canada only. Responsible buyers with good enclosures only please! As of today only 3 are still Available: 1 blue female, 1 chacoan white head female, 1 red male(but he's not out yet, he usually sleeps till mid July).

$300 each plus additional shipping charge via reptile express(because of large size it might be costly).

Due to personal life situations I am selling all my tegus at very affordable prices and I will change to work with smaller lizards instead after this. If you are a responsible owner please feel free to message me. Sorry for those who have been waiting for eggs, this was very unexpected for me too.

I put fruits and scraps that are rotten in the enclosure and one day this started growing! I didn't know it was an avocado at first, thought it could be a mango tree, but then I had someone verify it so now I know!

While I'm still waiting for all my tegus to finish brumating/hibernating we have some newly hatched . I wonder how well they will do in there, I know the enclosure is full of insects to eat. Hopefully they can be integrating into the ecosystm! Sorry for the bad quality, these mantis are very small!
