Happy Paws Pet & House Sitting is proud to partner with Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society (GEARS) as one of the Hole Sponsors for this incredible event, and we hope to see you there! 🐾

GEARS is a volunteer-run, foster-based rescue dedicated to giving homeless, abandoned, and at-risk animals a second chance through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption. ❤️

Fireworks may be exciting for us, but for many dogs, they can be overwhelming! 🎆

This Canada Day, a little preparation can go a long way in helping your pup feel safe and supported. Creating a cozy space, offering enrichment, and sticking to a familiar routine can make the evening much less stressful. And if you’re taking them with you, we have tips for that, too!

At Happy Paws, we know every dog is unique. The most important thing is to be patient, provide comfort in the way your dog prefers, and make sure they’re safe if fireworks are expected.

We hope these tips help you and your furry family member enjoy a calmer Canada Day together. ❤️🐾

Booking with us is simple! New clients start by booking a discovery call, where we can chat about your pet’s needs and answer any questions. After the phone call, you’ll set up your Pet Parent app, and then we’ll schedule a meet ’n greet so your pets can get comfortable before services begin. Returning clients can easily book services directly online! 🗓️🐶
