Ticks carrying Lyme disease are creeping further into Edmonton — including as far as Mill Woods.

Since April 20, around 26 tick incidents have been reported in Edmonton. This year, 2,352 ticks have been tested in Alberta and 12 came back positive for Lyme disease. The river valley and moist parkland are highest-risk areas.
