CANINE SWIM COACH / HYDROTHERAPIST
AquaStride Canine Wellness Centre | West Edmonton
We’re looking for a part-time, casual team member, with the potential to grow into a more full-time role.
If you understand dogs, love working with them and can read what they’re telling you, we want to hear from you!
What matters most:
🐶 Strong understanding of canine behaviour & body language
🐾 Verifiable experience working with dogs
💦 Able to spend an 8-hour shift working in and around the pool
💪 Confident handling dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments
🧠 Observant, patient and able to work independently
🎓 Certificates or diplomas in animal health, dog training, canine behaviour, rehabilitation or a related field are an asset, but not required.
💦 No hydrotherapy or swim-coach experience? No problem!
Training will be provided in our pool procedures and canine swimming program.
This is a hands-on position where every dog is different, so being able to understand and respond to the dog in front of you is essential.
