Every animal we rescue comes with a promise.

A promise of safety. A promise of love. A promise that they will never have to face life's challenges alone again.
Today, we're asking for help keeping those promises.

Some of the animals in this post are currently staying in boarding facilities while they wait for a foster home. Others need new foster homes because their current foster families can no longer continue caring for them.

Foster homes are the foundation of everything we do. Without them, we can't provide the stability, comfort, and individual care these animals deserve.
If you've been thinking about fostering, now is the perfect time to get involved. Opening your home can make a life-changing difference for an animal in need.

Will you help us keep our promises? ❀️

Meet Monroe: President of the Neighborhood Watch Committee 🏑

Birthday: January 29, 2026
S*x: Male
Breed: Neighborhood Watch Snugglehound
Size: will be large fully grown

Monroe takes his job very seriously. Every morning, before the world can properly begin, he conducts a thorough inspection of the yard to ensure absolutely nothing suspicious happened overnight. Fallen leaf? Investigated. New smell? Noted. Squirrel activity? Under surveillance.

This handsome boy is equal parts adventure buddy, class valedictorian, and professional nap enthusiast. His days are filled with zoomies, toy destruction, cardboard box "recycling," and shadowing his favorite humans from room to room. He firmly believes no one should ever have to go to the bathroom alone, though he politely respects your privacy.

Monroe is a bright puppy who loves learning. He's already mastered sit, down, paw, touch, high five, go right, and go left, and he's currently working on stay, place, and polishing up his leash manners. Treats are his preferred payment method, though he would like it noted that all treats should ideally belong to him.

When he's not studying or supervising household activities, Monroe can usually be found playing with his foster sister, tackling treat puzzles, or conducting important experiments in the garden.

Despite his confident personality, Monroe still struggles with being alone and is slowly learning that his humans always come back. He sleeps wonderfully in his crate overnight but prefers if he can see his people and be nearby. Monroe would thrive in a home where someone is around often and another canine friend would be a huge bonus.

If you're looking for a devoted sidekick, enthusiastic student, expert box unboxer, and part-time neighborhood security officer, Monroe is ready to submit his application.

Likes: Zoomies, playing with toys, cardboard boxes (especially destroying them), treat puzzles, learning new tricks, following his people everywhere

Dislikes: being alone, uneven treat distribution, peanut butter

Good with Dogs? Yes! He would likely love a canine companion.
Good with Cats? Unknown, but young and adaptable.
Good with Kids? Yes!

πŸ’” Poppi's journey has taken an unexpected turn.🚨

When Poppi came into rescue as an 8-week-old stray, she was very underweight and struggling to survive. Once she was safe in foster care, we hoped good food, rest, and love would help her thrive.

But something wasn't right.

Despite eating well, Poppi wasn't gaining weight as expected and frequently regurgitated her food. After yesterday's vet visit and diagnostic testing, we learned she may have a serious congenital condition affecting her esophagus. She is now being referred to a specialist and will likely require additional testing and surgery.

Our funds were already critically low before Poppi's diagnosis. Now we are facing another major veterinary bill.

When an animal needs emergency or specialized medical care, we don't hesitate. We make sure they receive the treatment they need. But every unexpected medical case puts additional strain on our resources and makes it harder to help the next animal waiting for a second chance.

That's why we're asking for your help.

🎟️ Support Poppi through our 50/50 raffle. Every ticket purchased helps cover her specialist appointments, diagnostic testing, and potential surgery.

No puppy should have to fight this hard just to eat and grow.

Thank you for standing with Poppi and helping us give her the future she deserves. ❀️🐾

🚨 Another Medical Emergency 🚨

Right now, our intakes are closed because our funds are stretched beyond capacity. Unfortunately, today we were hit with yet another unexpected medical emergency.

When an animal needs emergency medical care, we don't hesitate. We make sure they receive the treatment they need. But each unexpected emergency adds significant strain to our already limited resources and makes it harder to help the next animal in need.

If you've been thinking about donating, now is the time. Every dollar helps cover emergency veterinary care, medications, diagnostics, and treatment for animals who have nowhere else to turn.

πŸ’™ E-transfer: [email protected] or use the donation link in the comments below
πŸ’™ Tax receipts available (email [email protected] for one if you donated via etransfer)

To everyone who supports, shares, donates, fosters, and cheers us onβ€”thank you. Your support allows us to keep going. 🐾❀️

One treat at a time. ❀️

Kendall is a 2.5-year-old, 47 lb sweetheart who wants so badly to trust people. Every gentle interaction, every kind word, and every treat offered with patience is a small step forward for her.

This beautiful girl is spayed, good with dogs and cats, and has a gentle nature. What she needs most is a calm, patient foster home where she can move at her own pace and learn that the world isn't so scary.

A quieter home would be ideal for Kendall, as busy households and young children may be overwhelming for her while she continues to build confidence.

Watching her take a treat might seem like a small moment, but for Kendall, it's a big victory. Imagine what she could accomplish with someone willing to give her the time, understanding, and consistency she deserves.

Could you be the person who helps Kendall discover that people can be trusted?

Apply to foster today. 🐾❀️
