So its been a while since I have posted. Alot has happened in the past couple years and Kryptonian Reptiles had to make a change. A completely different approach as to what we do. I started this business with the hope of creating amazing animals using the knowledge I have of genetics and breeding I do however have knowledge to share beyond this. There are more then enough breeders out there. There is not alot of education.
I originally started my journey with snakes volunteering at local displays and community events. I just wanted to share my animals. I wanted to teach and wanted to change people's view on them. We live in a world that has painted these animals in a bad look. Made them out to be evil and gross. To many people don't understand them and dont accept them. This makes them less available to people who do love them. It also takes away opportunities for people to learn to love them. They are another option for animal lovers who want something to love and care for.
Not everyone should have kids. Many people can't handle traditional pets like cats and dogs. These animals require alot of time and more care that not everyone can provide in a world where we are so busy. Snakes are a wonderful alternative. Less commitment in that they dont require daily walks. They dont need to be brushed . They don't need to be bathed although some may enjoy a swim in the tub. They won't be upset if they don't get daily attention but some attention would be needed to keep them unstressed when we want to handle them. Most eat once a week. Cleaning is quick. No p**p all-over the yard. No stinky litter box. Even better then birds and hamsters thay still need daily care.
They need more cleaning amd they make more mess and stink. Snakes are the best pets for people who want an easy pet. Yet so many places won't allow them. It's crazy a place will allow a yappy dog that can damage a place over a quiet snake that is practically invisible.
I want I change this. I also am saddened to see people fearing them. Its a challenge to change thier minds once they have been exposed to all the movie fake stuff and news stories of only bad things etc. These animals absolutely can be that pet that you can come home to and cuddle and feel better. Its something to lobe and I know they can give this back. Maybe not like a dog or cat does but they do it. With proper introduction and the right animal these fears can be eliminated and this is what I want to focus on going forwards.
I no longer have ny collection. At one time I owned over 100 and was producing many beautiful babies .Life changes. I became ill . I ended up with kidney failure. Even being sick I still tried to go on but this is a disease with big limitations. I dont have the time anymore as I am on dialysis. This takes up half my week. Last summer it just got to hard to care for these animals. I was no longrr doing shows and couldn't make sales. I was just living with alot of work and expenses. I had to make a hard decision give up the majority of my animals. I kept 3 very special Snakes. 3 of the most amazing and sweetest animals ive ever known. My ome special girl that I produced is the most unique and special little soul you will ever meet. She's amazing in every way. I shouldn't keep her to myself. She lights up anyone's day who meets her. She will be my mascot amd the main animal to do her job of helping people.
Her name is Sapphire. She is the bel thats on my banner. With her and my girl Hope who is a cay caulker boa and my angolan python Laredo. These 3 will be the start of our new journey. There will be no.more posts of new babies. I may eventually do a reptile show to advertise what I plan to do but that's about all I'll be posting until I start going into places with them. I want to follow another group thay takes thier snakes into old folks home and children's hospital etc. They allow people the experience of handling these animals. I could even give little lectures and do question and answers. I could go to schools and jusy about anywhere that would like some friendly snakes to visit
I will also be Interested in one on one with those who need help getting over thier fears. I have done this in the past and it was the best experience. I had a lady who couldn't look at a picture of a snake. Within 2 hours she was holding a 6 ft boa. I don't have bigger snakes now. Hope is a dwarf so not much bigger then a ball python but she represents an animal that's more reasonable for people to have as a pet. Its a hard to find species but worth it. She has a very cool personality. I'd like to make some posts for each individual animal I have so you can get to know them. I'll be doing posts about them and thier day. At some point id like to add a couple more to my little group. To do this I nee to get started and keep things at a level i can physically handle. I will likely set this up as a volunteer thing but there is costs involved fedding these animals and travel costs so im thinking of bookings by donation. Im very interested in having one or tow people join me if thie sounds like something they would enjoy doing. I know I love seeing people so happy handling these animals. I think there are others out there who would also enjoy this and it won't be money that's the motivator. The joy you witness should be what you want for being part of this. So.I will be open to anyone that can help in any way as a hand at these presentations and perhaps someone who wants to come give some care and love to the animals here.

Less will need to be in rescues. And more will get better care with proper information shared. Lets change this part of the world. Message with anything you have to offer and ideas.
