🐾 What a way to start the morning! 🐾
When our team arrived at the clinic early this morning, we found an abandoned cardboard box sitting at our front door. 💔 The box wasn't secured properly—and it was empty. Inside were scratch marks and fur, making it clear that whoever had been inside had escaped.
Our team immediately began searching the property, and after about 30 minutes of looking, we finally spotted them... three frightened little cats perched high at the very top of one of our tallest trees! 🌳🐱🐱🐱
Thankfully, Edmonton's finest firefighters came to the rescue! 🚒❤️ They made quick work of the situation, safely bringing all three kittens back down to the ground. We can't thank them enough for their kindness, compassion, and willingness to help.
The trio is now safe, warm, and enjoying plenty of love (and food!) here at the clinic. They will be transferred into the care of Barrhead Animal Rescue, where they will be fostered by our very own Michelle until they're ready to find their forever homes.
Today had a happy ending thanks to teamwork, quick thinking, and some amazing firefighters. ❤️
