Franklin traded his usual nap spot for a very important visit to hospice.

With his tiny nurse’s outfit, gentle purrs, and calm presence, Franklin brought smiles, comfort, and moments of connection to patients, families, and staff. Sometimes the greatest medicine isn’t found in a bottle, it’s found in a soft paw, a quiet cuddle, and the unconditional love of an animal.

We’re excited to be joining tomorrow’s Accessibility Fair at YEG from 10:00am–2:00pm alongside our amazing therapy dog teams! 🐾

Be sure to stop by and say hello to therapy dogs Angus, Dexter, Kato and Mabel while learning more about accessibility supports and services available through the airport. ✈️

We’re looking forward to sharing smiles, comfort and lots of tail wags with everyone attending!

As we lead up to AccessAbility Week, we’re excited to kick it off with an AccessAbility Fair.

Join us on May 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Arrivals, where we will be welcoming almost 20 community and airport organizations including DiveThru, Autism Edmonton, AdaptAbilities, Samsic, Airline partners and more.

What to expect at the AccessAbility Fair:

💚 Mental Health Week | May 4–10 💚

At PeTS, we see every day how powerful the bond between people and animals can be.

A wagging tail, a gentle nudge, a quiet moment of connection; sometimes the smallest interactions can make the biggest difference. Our therapy animal teams provide comfort, companionship, and emotional support to individuals in hospitals, schools, care facilities, workplaces, airports, and throughout our community.

Mental health matters, and healing doesn’t always come in words, sometimes it comes with four paws and a happy tail.

During Mental Health Week, we want to remind everyone that it’s okay to slow down, reach out, and take care of yourself. Connection, kindness, and support can make all the difference and no one should feel they have to face hard days alone.

Sometimes comfort comes in the form of a conversation, and sometimes it comes with a furry friend by your side 🩵

🌮🌵 Feliz Cinco de Mayo from PeTS! 🐾💃

Mabel was all dressed up and ready to spread smiles today in her festive fiesta best! From her colorful poncho to her tiny sombrero, she brought plenty of joy, cuddles, and tail wags wherever she went.
