Many young dogs or social dogs who haven't had much practice around other dogs can come in pretty hot and cause trouble at dog parks. Appropriate social skills are needed in order for dogs to coexist with other strange dogs in public off leash spaces. Skills like reading other dogs body language, taking breaks during play, polite greetings, listening to other dogs cues and the ability to regulate emotions around other dogs are all learned behaviors! All of these skills can be taught and reinforced with consistency, timing of reinforcement and practice. You're in luck! Digging is a natural behavior for dogs. They're not ripping up your lawn to upset you. It's important to provide your dog with species appropriate enrichment to fulfill their needs. Some dogs really love to dig for many reasons, so get them a dig pit! You can easily train your dog to only dig in their specific area!

Being able to take your dog off leash can greatly improve not only their levels of enrichment and exercise but also your relationship! I am a big advocate in taking dogs off leash (in designated areas) and doing so in a safe and fun way!

I'm offering off-leash specific private sessions! These are right for you if your dog:

- Is young and needs more exercise and socialization
- Needs help remembering you exist outside the house
- Wants to live in the forest with the rabbits and coyotes
- Regularly escapes the yard
- Loves other dogs but lacks social skills
